FAIRFIELD, CT — Detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred Saturday in Fairfield, according to police. About 1:15 p.m., a woman reported her Jackman Avenue home had been broken into during the previous hour, while she was away from the residence, a police report said. She returned to find her home's basement window pushed in and back door ajar, according to police. Officers set up a perimeter and searched the residence with the assistance of a K-9, but did not find a suspect, the report said. It's unknown if anything was stolen, according to police.
