Cab Driver Accused of Sexually Assaulting Student Granted Probation
The man was accused of groping an 18-year-old Sacred Heart University student and at one point allegedly locked her inside the cab.

The cab driver accused of sexually assaulting a Sacred Heart University student last September has been granted probation.
The Connecticut Post reports Yves Pierre, 45, who was accused of fondling the woman and putting his hands between her legs while she was sitting in the front seat and locking her in the cab with him when her friends got out, was granted accelerated rehabilitation and will serve two years of probation but did not plead guilty to the charges.
The prosecution said it was prepared to go to trial but the victim, who was 18 at the time, wanted to put the matter behind her and move on with her life.
