Red Mango Cafe Closes In Fairfield
While the café has closed, the owner announces she is launching a catering business.

FAIRFIELD, CT — As Rose Lamba says goodbye to the Red Mango Café, she is saying hello to her new catering business — Rose’s Catering. Lamba recently announced that the family has closed the Red Mango Café location on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield.
The frozen yogurt café opened in 2014 and was the only Red Mango location in Connecticut. Lamba recently announced the café’s closing in an email to customers. (To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
“On behalf of Red Mango Cafe, I want to reach out to each, and every one of you and personally thank you for your service over the years,” Lamba wrote in the email. “Please know as of Friday, March 31, we have closed our establishment at Blackrock Turnpike. As this is a bittersweet time for us, we believe it is for the best.

“My goal is to move forward and continue my catering services to all of you as well as maintain the strong relationships that I have built throughout the Fairfield community and beyond. We have greatly appreciated your business, and look forward to working with you in the future servicing your catering needs. I can promise you our food will be as tasty as it always has been. We are READY to serve your favorite food.”
