Women and girls are engaging with golf like never before these days, recognizing the sport's positive impact on social, mental and physical well-being.
PGA TOUR Superstore, Norwalk’s new go-to destination for golf retail, will host a special Girls Got Drive™ event featuring actress Stephanie Szostak and former ESPN and Fox Sports reporter Lindsay Czarniak, both area residents and golf enthusiasts.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a conversation with Szostak, whose films include The Devil Wears Prada and author of the book, Self!ish, and Czarniak, a former ESPN and Fox Sports reporter.
They'll share fun and inspiring stories about how golf has taught them resilience, confidence and focus, lessons they’ve taken off the course and into their everyday lives. The afternoon will also feature a giveaway of Szostak's book, Self!ish, while supplies last, followed by an autograph signing and photo opportunities with both celebrity guests. Participants can also enjoy an afternoon of discounts, contests and other giveaways at this free event.
