Fairfield Men’s Association Announces Mission, Programs, and Upcoming Activities

Midlife and beyond can be a time of social isolation and loss of purpose, which is what the Fairfield Men’s Association (FMA) aims to address.
Its motto, “A Fellowship of Men 50-plus Making the Most of Everyday,” pairs well with its mission, to provide programs and ongoing activities that merge meaningful friendships with opportunities for learning, sharing and discovering new interests together.
Weekly morning meetings, held at the First Church of Fairfield (148 Beach Road), encourage social interaction, networking and intellectual enrichment, are typically held each Tuesday, featuring engaging speakers on a wide range of educational, cultural and recreational topics. Meetings provide time for social interaction, networking and intellectual enrichment.
In addition to weekly meetings, FMA members may participate in a variety of group activities and clubs, including outings, recreational pursuits, wellness activities, travel, photography, golf, walking groups, and informal breakfast socials. These activities support physical health, lifelong learning, and strong social connections.
Membership is open to men 50 and older who work or reside in Fairfield and neighboring communities. To learn more about the organization, please visit us at www.fairfieldmensassociaion.org.
