Open to ALL children, PreK – Rising Grade 8 &amp; Families!
Our Summer Discovery Days are designed to give children and families an opportunity to experience the joyful spirit of the Unquowa community in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Families are invited to enjoy playground time, nature and brook exploration, hands-on creative activities, STEM and discovery stations, lawn games, summer treats, and optional campus tours.
Led by Unquowa students, faculty, and staff, these gatherings are intentionally casual, community-centered, and designed to help children make new friends while families connect with one another throughout the summer months.
Whether you are already part of our community or discovering Unquowa for the first time, we would love to welcome you to campus this summer!

On Thursday, July 2 from 6:00-9:00 pm, join us in celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday! View rare early editions of the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and other founding documents.
Hear remarks from Sacred Heart University’s History Professor, Dr. Kelly Marino.
Celebrate this festive occasion with us and be the first to experience this limited-time exhibition, on view from July 4 through July 12, 2026.
Light bites, American sparkling wine, and cocktails will be served.

Pin trading is a popular hobby where people come together to exchange collectible pins.&nbsp;
This event focuses on Disney Pins - bringing the tradition of collecting and trading souvenir pins of your favorite characters and attractions from Disney theme parks to Connecticut! However, there are no restrictions on other collections, so join us for a great way to interact with other collectors and acquire unique finds!
Entrants will have access to our giveaway, opening trading board, and all pin trading activities! Some of our vendors will also be selling Disney merchandise and handmade creations.&nbsp;
If you wish to reserve a table in advance, there will be a $30 fee. You can contact thedisneypinventory@gmail.com to reserve a table. If you have any concerns with finance or special needs, please let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate.&nbsp;
