
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield firefighters made short work of a car fire Tuesday night on Interstate 95.
The blaze occurred about 10 p.m., when the fire department responded to a stretch of the northbound interstate near Exit 23, where emergency personnel found the car engulfed in flames, according to a department Facebook post.
The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured, the department said, adding the cause of the incident remains under investigation. The Facebook post also included a two-minute video showing the vehicle on fire and the department’s response.
