Car Windows Smashed, Purses Stolen At Gym In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A $1,200 Louis Vuitton purse was among the items stolen when a thief broke into three vehicles in the parking lot of The Edge, located at 500 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield, on Sunday afternoon, according to multiple reports.

The Fairfield Citizen reports the windows of all three cars were smashed and other purses and cash were taken from the vehicles.

A suspicious man was seen ducking between cars in the parking lot at about 1 p.m., according to the Fairfield Daily Voice. The suspect was described as wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants.
