Cashier Threatened During Robbery At Dunkin’ Donuts: Fairfield PD

Police are investigating a robbery at a Dunkin' Donuts in Fairfield in which the suspect threatened to shoot the cashier.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts in which the suspect threatened to shoot the cashier early Tuesday morning in Fairfield. Police responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 593 Post Road, shortly after 2 a.m. on May 28. The cashier told police that a black male in his 40s, who was wearing a red jacket and hat, entered the store and threatened to shoot her.

“The male implied that he had a gun, however, no firearm was displayed,” Lt. John Bucherati said in a press release. “The male took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and fled the store. A K9 track of the suspect was unsuccessful.”

Bucherati said no one was injured during the robbery.
