Republican Cathy Politi, 57, is running for RTM District 3 in Fairfield.

Occupation: Administrative Manager Medical/legal Services

Family in government: My father and brother both served in the military and my brother was also a Lieutenant in a nearby Connecticut Police Department.

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Building our grand list to lower property taxes for our residents by supporting growth of business in our town. Keeping taxes affordable and especially for our Senior Citizens.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I enjoy listening to people's concerns and have a passion for learning. I like to do my own research and listen to both sides of an issue before forming an opinion.

Accomplishments:

I'm a dedicated, organized, and hard working individual with the ability to think outside of the box to solve problems. I have accomplished this with my career and in being a single mother raising two sons.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I have enjoyed the benefit of living in Fairfield for 30 years and have two sons that attended the Fairfield Public School System. I would like the opportunity to serve the community of District 3 by listening to your concerns and working hard to ensure the betterment of Fairfield.
