Children Hurt in Serious Fairfield Crash

A head-on collision injured two children and two adults Friday morning.

FAIRFIELD, CT- Emergency personal responded to another serious accident in town Friday morning.

Shortly before 9 a.m. firefighters and police were dispatched to a head-on collision on Burr Street south of Shetland Road.

Two pediatric and two adults were seriously injured. Emergency personal were able to remove the victims and have them ready for transport to Bridgeport Hospital within 15 minutes, according to the Fairfield Fire Department Facebook page.

AMR responded with three ambulances and a district supervisor. Fairfield Rescue 1 personnel assisted with patient care at the scene and then focused on securing the vehicles.

Ages of the victims weren't immediately known.
