Connecticut Open Family Classic Tennis Champions Crowned

Families from around the state competed at the event held at the Connecticut Open.

Nine teams of family members competed in the regional finals recently for the right to play alongside the pros at the Connecticut Open on Thursday, August 21 at the Connecticut Tennis Center.

The winners were honored with a trophy presentation on the stadium court during the evening session of the Connecticut Open.

More than 1,500 players competed in 75 local events at tennis facilities in five states to reach the finals, according to 10sBalls.com, who posted the following results:
