WATCH: Connecticut State Police Rescue Dog on I-95 in Fairfield (Updated)
A state trooper safely carried the lost dog across the roadway on Monday morning.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A lost dog was rescued by Connecticut State Police on I-95 in Fairfield on Monday morning, NBC Connecticut’s Heidi Voight reports.

The dog was safely carried across the roadway between Exits 23 and 24 by State Trooper Mike Spry of Troop G, according to Voight.
