Connecticut's 'Weatherman' Advances on NBC's American Ninja Warrior
Joe Moravsky, who trains in Fairfield, is headed to the national finals in Las Vegas as he looks to become the first American Ninja Warrior.

Connecticut’s “Weatherman” Joe Moravsky advanced to the national finals round in Las Vegas on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior with a flawless performance Monday night in Pittsburgh.
Moravsky, an online weatherman, is making his third appearance on the show in which competitors tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds across the country.
Moravsky does his training at the GCA gym in Fairfield, according to News 12 Connecticut, and is hoping to become the first “American Ninja Warrior.”

He already has made an impact in his first two seasons, advancing further than anyone else in the country, according to News12.
Those who successfully complete the finals course in their designated region move on to the national finals round in Las Vegas, where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan, according to NBC.

The winner takes home the grand prize of $1 million.
In the Pittsburgh finals on Monday night, Moravsky completed the course in 7:28.92 and didn’t fail any obstacles, according to Bleacher Report.
Moravsky posted the following message on his Facebook page on Monday night:
I’m ready for the mountain... Here I come Las Vegas! 3rd time’s a charm?!!
American Ninja Warrior airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
