Cops: Mom, Others Arrested for Fight at Child's Birthday Party in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT - A Stratford mom and two 16-year-olds were arrested Saturday at Our Backyard Play Place in Fairfield following a fight over the mother's birthday party for her two-year-old daughter, according to police.

Amanda Santiago, 23, and the two 16-year-olds from Bridgeport were charged with breach of peace, reports the Connecticut Post. No injuries were reported.

Santiago had invited the child's father to the party, but not other members of his family who also showed up, according to police. The situation escalated to the point where the three got into an altercation, prompting the facility's owner to call the police.
