Coronavirus Fairfield: Notre Dame High School To Close

All activities at the private school in Fairfield are also on hold.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Notre Dame High School will be closed for at least two weeks, the Fairfield-based private school announced Thursday as the new coronavirus continued its spread across Connecticut.

Notre Dame will switch to online learning Monday, Principal Christopher Cipriano said in a tweet. The school will remain closed until at least March 27. All school activities are on hold. More details were expected to be emailed to parents Thursday afternoon.

Private schools in Greenwich, Milford and Wallingford have also closed amid concern about the virus, as have many area public school districts and colleges, including Fairfield Public Schools, Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University, which are all moving to remote learning.
