Couple Gets Engaged At Finish Line Of Road Race In Fairfield
The annual Thanksgiving morning road race featured a surprise engagement for a Fairfield couple.
FAIRFIELD, CT — As runners braved the frigid conditions at the 41st Annual Pequot Road Runners Thanksgiving Day 5-mile race, a surprise engagement at the finish line helped warm things up on Thursday morning.
The Connecticut Post reports Fairfield’s Mark Marston surprised his girlfriend Tara McKenna by proposing at the finish line. She said yes.
