Couple Stole $1.5K In Items From Home Depot: Fairfield Police
Two people, who police say have extensive criminal records, were arrested after leading officers on a brief pursuit.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A couple with extensive criminal records face several charges after police say they conspired to steal about $1,500 worth of items from Home Depot on Kings Highway in Fairfield on Sunday night, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Ryan McCarthy, 42, and Bernadette Perniciaro, 35, both of Waterbury, were arrested after leading police in a brief pursuit while leaving Home Depot. To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.
McCarthy, who police said is a known shoplifter, was seen leaving the store with $1,500 worth of items in a cart and Perniciaro was allegedly acting as his lookout, according to the Citizen.
