Drivers Seriously Injured In I-95 Crash In Fairfield: UPDATE

FAIRFIELD, CT — UPDATE: Two drivers were hospitalized with serious injuries as a result of the crash, according to the Fairfield Fire Department. Rescue crews are currently operating at the scene on I-95 North near Exit 22 in Fairfield, according to fire officials.

(Original post) FAIRFIELD, CT — Traffic is congested on I-95 North between Exits 19 and 23 due to a multi-vehicle accident between Exits 22 and 23 in Fairfield, according to the state DOT. The left and right lanes are closed. Traffic is also congested on the southbound side.
