CT Company Secures Naming Rights For Sacred Heart University Sports Field

FAIRFIELD, CT — Sacred Heart University has entered a multi-year naming rights agreement with Sikorsky Credit Union that renames Campus Field as Sikorsky Credit Union Field. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The athletic venue, located on the university's Park Avenue campus in Fairfield, is used by Sacred Heart's football, men's and women's lacrosse teams and various club sports. The agreement also includes support for financial literacy initiatives and banking services for students, faculty, staff and alumni.

The announcement comes ahead of the football team's move to the Coastal Athletic Association in August. According to the university, Sacred Heart will be one of two programs in the 13-member conference with naming rights for its football field.

"Our athletic field has been a gathering place for students, alumni, and fans for decades," Sacred Heart President John J. Petillo said. "The agreement with Sikorsky Credit Union represents an investment not only in our athletic programs, but also in the holistic development of our students and the strength of our surrounding community. We are proud to align with an organization that shares our mission and values."

Petillo said the agreement supports the university's recent athletics initiatives, including facility improvements, conference realignment and investments in the student-athlete experience.

Sikorsky Credit Union said the agreement is part of its investment in community engagement and regional partnerships.
