The new clinic is intended to increase access to autism-related services in the area.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Cultivate Behavioral Health & Education has opened a new Applied Behavior Analysis therapy center in Fairfield, its sixth location in the state.

The new clinic, at 501 Kings Highway East, Suite 110, is intended to increase access to autism-related services in Fairfield County and nearby communities.

Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA, is an evidence-based therapy commonly recommended for children with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. The approach focuses on developing communication, social, daily living and behavioral skills through structured teaching, positive reinforcement and data-driven decision-making.

According to the organization, treatment plans at the Fairfield center will be individualized based on each child’s strengths and needs. The model emphasizes collaboration with families and coordination with medical and educational providers to support skill development across home, school and community settings.

Research has shown that early and consistent behavioral intervention can improve developmental outcomes for some children with autism. Cultivate said its programs are designed to promote skill generalization and long-term independence.
