From the announcement:

Fairfield University is a proud sponsor of this year’s event. ā€œOne of the reasons why our students love being at Fairfield is the great selection of cuisine we have through our food service company on campus, but they especially love the diverse restaurants, eateries, and take-out establishments that the Town of Fairfield has to offer,ā€ said Jennifer Anderson, vice president of Marketing and Communications at Fairfield University. ā€œWe count ourselves lucky that the University is flanked by two main throughways, both lined with any kind of food you could possibly want, and we know that the mutually beneficial relationship between these restaurants and our students, faculty, and staff is a vital one for both the community and our University. The Economic Development team in Fairfield is committed to promoting the town’s booming food industry and we’re excited to help celebrate during Restaurant Week each year.ā€

First Selectwoman Kupchick added, ā€œWe are very appreciative of Fairfield University’s continued support of Fairfield Restaurant Week.ā€
