Date Set For 2026 Fairfield Dog Days At Jennings Beach

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Fairfield Dog Days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, rain or shine.

The free event will feature vendors, dog-related activities, entertainment, giveaways and other family-oriented attractions. Organizers said the event is open to all ages.

According to the chamber, the event brings together dog owners, local businesses and animal welfare organizations.

"It's a wonderful event for the community with activities for kids and adults, and allows Adopt-A-Dog to show off some of our adorable adoptables," a representative of Adopt-A-Dog said. "We look forward to having positive and fun days and hope to recruit some new foster families as well."

Vendor applications are open for businesses interested in reserving a 10-by-10-foot tent space. Information is available through the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce website or by contacting Katelyn Thaler at the chamber (Katelyn@FairfieldCTChamber.com or call: 203-

"The Fairfield event draws over 1,500 people, and although its theme is dogs, attendees are also interested in looking at, or purchasing, other kinds of products as well," said Beverly Balaz, president of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. "This is one of Fairfield's bigger community events. Vendor tent spots are limited, so we encourage vendors to register early."

Planned activities include dog lure coursing, face painting, a caricature artist, a pet pantry bone bar, an ice cream station for dogs, a sniffing activity course, food trucks and a splash park.

"This event has become a staple in Fairfield County, and we're proud to continue creating unique experiences that support the welfare of pets and the people who love them," Balaz added. "From playful activities to pet adoption awareness, every element of Dog Days is designed to strengthen our bond with the community and give back."
