The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Affordability — My wife and I moved to Fairfield 13 years ago to raise our family and we did so because of the first class schools. What was not lost on us at the time was that if taxes and spending are not kept in check a young family like ourselves may not be able to stay. If elected and I will always work to maintain a balance between necessary spending for our schools and making sure younger and middle class families always have a place in town.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I would like to be a fresh voice on the RTM from District 7 and will always take a bi-partisan common sense approach to doing what is best for the town.
Accomplishments:
I have have been a practicing public service attorney for twenty five years and that experience has carried over in service to the town. I am a former Chairman of the Ethics Commission and currently serve as a member of the town Parking Authority.
Other issues:
Infrastructure and Traffic Safety - As a resident living on the eastern edge of District 7 I am well aware that some of the roads and sidewalks on this side of town are an outright danger to pedestrians. I hope to address the safety concerns that many residents of the district have with this issue.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I am running for a seat on the RTM for the same reason I have volunteered to sit on town boards and commissions. I want to continue to be of service to this town which has so greatly enriched my family.
