Family in government: No

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

While I am concerned about all of Fairfield's critical issues and I and my neighbors in District 9 are most concerned about the impact of beach erosion and flooding. Serving on the Storm Sandy Relief Committee increased my understanding of the financial and emotional impact of flooding. It is my goal to work on developing short and long term plans to deal with the impact of climate change on the Fairfield shoreline.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

There are four candidates running for the RTM as Democrats in District 9. We have met and agreed on the critical issues facing our town. It is important for all of us to be elected and so we can work together as a group to deal with these issues.

Accomplishments:

I have spent 13 years on the RTM and 7 years on the Board of Finance. This gives me an understanding of the Fairfield government and the details of our budgets. I have also been in leadership positions in PTAs and the Friends of the Fairfield Public Library which rounds out my background in Fairfield.

Other issues:

Maintain the quality of life for Fairfield Residents of all ages. Ensure financial responsibility in all budget areas. Provide the best education for all Fairfield students.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

When I ran successfully for the Board of Finance and I based my campaign on the premise that "Experience Counts" and my many years of experience will help me to understand and deal with the critical issues facing the whole Town of Fairfield.
