Decision Reached On Renovation Funding For Fairfield Elementary School: Report
Education officials were seeking millions for the project.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The town will issue $18.5 million in bonds to fund a renovation and expansion project at Holland Hill School, following unanimous approval this week by the Representative Town Meeting.
The Fairfield Citizen reports that the long overdue improvement project calls for the construction of additional classrooms, new lockers, new music room and additional parking, among other renovations to the elementary school.
Fairfield's building committee will now submit the plan to the state for approval of reimbursement, according to the publication.
