Decision Reached On Tuesday Classes At Fairfield Public Schools

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 24, as Connecticut continues to dig out from the Sunday/Monday snow storm, district officials announced.

"Fairfield Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, due to the impact of the storm and ongoing street and parking lot cleanup," officials wrote in a statement.

"Central Office staff should report at 10:00 AM. All after-school activities are canceled," officials added. "Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe environment for all staff and students."
