Diner Customer Threatened To Shoot Worker In Face: Fairfield PD

FAIRFIELD, CT — A man is accused of threatening to shoot a food service worker in the face after he was asked to stop calling a Fairfield diner, according to police.

Orlando Torres, 55, was arrested after the incident, which occurred mid-day Thursday, and was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace, police said.

Torres, a customer at the Southport Diner, 3350 Post Road, had called the eatery and been harassing the business, according to police. When he was asked to stop, Torres threatened to shoot an employee in the face with a gun, police said.
