Dog Bites Fairfield Jogger in Buttocks: Report

Fairfield Animal Control is asking for the public's assistance in locating the dog.

A jogger was bit in the buttocks Sunday evening and the Fairfield Animal Control is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the dog to determine if it is up to date with its rabies vaccinations, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports the man was bitten while jogging on Old Post Road near Belmont Street around 5 p.m. by a white, red and tan pit bull mix.

The dog’s owner was walking four dogs at the time and called the pit bull mix off. However, the jogger and dog owner didn’t exchange information before the jogger left the area, according to the Citizen.
