FAIRFIELD, CT — In this presidential election, where it has been anything but normal, could Connecticut actually be considered a battleground state?
Both candidates are planning trips to Connecticut, including Donald Trump for a rally in Fairfield on Saturday. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to attend a fundraising dinner at the Conyers Farm estate of Richard and Ellen Schapps Richman in Greenwich on Aug. 15.
Trump, who trailed Clinton by seven points in Connecticut in the latest Quinnipiac University presidential poll, will hold a rally at Sacred Heart University’s William H. Pitt Center on Saturday, Aug. 13.
