Donation Drive To Support Ukraine Set For Saturday In Fairfield

A wide range of items are needed, including medical supplies, bedding and hygiene products.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Ukrainian American Club of Southport will be hosting a donation drive Saturday for the people of Ukraine, in partnership with state Rep. Laura Devlin, R-134, and state Sen. Tony Hwang, R-28.

The event will take place noon to 3 p.m. at the club, 279 Kings Drive, according to a news release.

  • First-aid kits, aspirin and medical supplies
  • Bedding and blankets
  • Standalone lamps and candles
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Nonperishable food
  • New clothing — socks, underwear, thermals
  • Tents, mattresses and pads
  • Postpartum items (bottles, manual pumps, diapers, infant clothes, pacifiers, sleep sacks, travel-size baby soap and cream, etc.)
