Driver Injured After Crashing Into Pole: Fairfield Police
The driver was given a verbal warning by police and taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver was taken to a hospital after crashing into a pole Saturday, according to Fairfield police. A vehicle was traveling south on Cardinal Street when the driver reached the intersection with Lenox Road and seemingly failed to negotiate a left turn, hitting the pole and snapping it in half, a police report said. The driver suffered a wrist injury, nosebleed and scratches, and was given a verbal warning by police and taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport.
