Driver Not At Fault After Child Hit By Vehicle: Fairfield Cops
The child rode a scooter into the street before the incident, according to police.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The driver was not at fault in a recent incident that resulted in a child being taken to the hospital, according to police. First responders were called just after 4 p.m. Friday to the 300 block of Fairview Avenue, after a child on a scooter rode out into the street and made contact with a vehicle, Fairfield Sgt. Chris Ioli said. The child's injuries were not serious, according to Ioli.
