Driver Severely Injured, Ejected From SUV On I-95 In Fairfield
The driver was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and state police are investigating the case.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A driver was severely injured Thursday after being ejected from an SUV during a crash on Interstate 95 in Fairfield, according to state police.
The collision occurred about 7:30 a.m. at the Exit 19 entrance ramp, police said. A box truck in the interstate’s right northbound lane was struck from behind by an Acura, whose driver was ejected and taken to Bridgeport Hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
The case is being investigated by state police and anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Sierra Lebron-Hernandez at 203-696-2500.
