Dropped Cigarette Leads to 3-Car Crash in Fairfield
A Westport woman was cited for the crash after she crossed over the traffic line while reaching for the cigarette.

A Westport woman was cited for losing control of her car while retrieving a cigarette she dropped and causing a three-car crash Wednesday in Fairfield.
The Fairfield Citizen reports Theresa Lamphier, 48, of Timber Lane, was issued two infractions for the accident in which she crossed over the double-yellow line and sideswiped an oncoming car and collided with another.
The drivers of the other two cars were transported to the hospital for evaluation after the crash.
