Drowning Near Chubby's Not Ruled a Homicide Yet
The drowning near the Fairfield/Bridgeport border occurred after a fight.
Bridgeport city officials said they would wait for the autopsy report before designating the apparent drowning death near Chubby’s as a homicide.
A West Haven man died after a fight outside of the bar near the Bridgeport/Fairfield line. The fight spilled into nearby Ash Creek, according to the Connecticut Post.
A suspect is still being sought by police.
