The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Keeping Fairfield affordable for all of its residents. Also, as a member of the RTM, and working within the parameters of my position, my focus within my District is on safety. For this reason I have achieved the following: Two Stop signs and crosswalk on Beach. Stop sign on South Benson side street, Sherman playground Safety fence, and gotten slow school zone painted on Beach and Judson. Flashing cross walk stanchions approved to be installed by St Paul’s Nursey school (working with State to get grant money for purchase)
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I take calls from any and all constituents. Along with the safety items I have worked to achieve I have also gotten a special “snow emergency “ regulation that prohibits parking on evacuation routes to allow plows access. To help with Town budget I worked with Fairfield PD to write and pass Recovery of Cost ordinance. I addressed the Nichols Street possible closure and got that abandoned. I get tangilble things done for my District.
Accomplishments:
I cited many of them above. I ask questions during meetings to insure transparency and clarity for D9 constituents
Other issues:
I am a recognized Gun Sense Candidate by Moms Demand Action. I try hard to knock doors in order to meet as many voters as possible.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I am fiscally moderate. I support well funded schools since free public education is one of the core tenets of our American democracy. I believe in climate change and will fight to make sure District 9 receives the flood Mitigation support it needs
