DUI Driver Found Asleep at McDonald’s Drive-Thru with Child in Car: Fairfield Police
A Fairfield woman was arrested after McDonald's employees reported that she was sleeping behind the wheel in the drive-thru lane.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield woman faces DUI and risk of injury to a minor charges after police say she was found asleep behind the wheel of her Mercedes in the drive-thru lane of McDonald’s with her 5-year-old child in the back seat around 11 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Karen Dolzani, 37, of Barlow Place, was arrested after police received several calls reporting that a driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel while stopped at a red light on the Post Road and employees at McDonald’s also called police.
There was also a male passenger in the car who was also asleep at McDonald’s and later told police they were on their way to pick up a prescription for clozapine, according to the Citizen.
