Easton Woman Accused of Leaving 4-Year-Old Alone at Fairfield Motor Inn
Brittany Hacker, 24, allegedly left to confront her ex-husband.

An Easton woman was arrested Monday for allegedly leaving her 4-year-old daughter alone in a room at the Fairfield Motor Inn while she reportedly went to confront her ex-husband.
Brittany Hacker, 24, of East Common Road in Easton, was arrested on charges of risk of injury to a minor and leaving a child unsupervised.
Hacker’s ex-husband called Easton police after Hacker arrived at his house without the daughter. Hacker had told her ex-husband that she left their daughter with a friend in another room at the motel, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The Citizen reports that Fairfield police received a call from the Easton police at about 7:15 p.m. for a welfare check on the girl and when officers arrived, the child was alone in the room.
Hacker was taken into custody when she was later found by police, according to the Citizen, and the state Department of Children and Families was notified.
