Fairfield Legion Baseball Tryouts

                              Legion Baseball Tryouts

 

Fairfield American Legion Lt. Owen Fish Post 143 Baseball Program will have tryouts Friday February 3rd 7:00pm -8:30pm and Saturday February 4th 5:30pm -7:00pm  at The Clubhouse Training Facility on Black Rock Turnpike. There is a $15 tryout fee for each session. Players must attend at least one sessions

The Fairfield Legion program will have three teams: Seniors 19U, juniors 17U and a Legion Prep 15U. The seniors and juniors play in the highly competitive legion state zone 4, which mirrors the FCIAC conference. Our Legion Prep team will be playing in the legion developmental division: The Greater Fairfield County Baseball League.

The 30 game season starts at the conclusion of the high school season and finishes with state playoffs in August. We will also participate in two tournaments one in July and the second in August after the season. Many of the local top high school players and college freshmen participate in the legion program.

 

Fairfield Legion has continued to partner with Sacred Heart University. Our staff consists of current upperclassmen players and coaches of the SHU very successful baseball team.  We also include the Clubhouse staff in the developmental phase our program with winter workouts and summer tune up sessions.
