The Family Golf Challenge, a new skills challenge for families, will take place at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course for
the second time this Sunday, August 21. This will be a makeup of the previously scheduled event on August 7 that was postponed due to inclement weather.
The Family Golf Challenge is an amateur skills competition, featuring a putting and long-drive competition,
designed to introduce more women and children to the sport of golf. Whether you are an avid golfer or, new to the game, the program has been designed to engage two-person teams comprised of adults and kids (7-17) in a fun, rewarding and philanthropic experience.
Teams will be comprised of two family members (i.e. father/son, mother/daughter, uncle/niece, etc.). The top three teams will each win medals.
