Walk for Hope, a 5K route through historic downtown Fairfield, takes place Sunday, Sept. 12, in support of CancerCare of Connecticut free professional services. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Jennings Beach; the minimum donation is $25 for adults, children 12 and under (and pets) free. T-shirts and refreshments.
