The Fairfield American Little League team hit a bump in the road in the New England Regional Tournament with a 4-2 loss to Goffstown Junior of New Hampshire Sunday night in Bristol.
Fairfield American dropped to 2-1 in pool play and is 14-2 overall in the postseason.
It was the third game in three days for Fairfield, which will play Cumberland of Rhode Island Tuesday at 4 p.m.
