Fairfield Animal Control to Hold Pet Rabies Vaccination Clinic
The low-cost rabies vaccination clinic will take place on Saturday, May 14.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Animal Control will hold a low-cost pet rabies vaccination clinic at the Animal Shelter at 211 One Rod Highway (211 Richard White Way) on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The clinic will be sponsored for the 28th year by the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) with Dr. John Kristy of the Engelberg Kristy Animal Hospital vaccinating cats/dogs.
The cost of the vaccination is $20 cash per cat/dog.

All dogs must be on leashes and cats in secure carriers.
The pet rabies vaccines will be of three-year duration for dogs/cats that have previous proof of rabies vaccination (either current or expired).

Any pet that does not have proof of a previous vaccine will receive a one year duration vaccine. Any pet owner that displays a State of Connecticut assistance card will receive one free vaccination.
