Fairfield Bar Manager Tried To Sell Cocaine At Business, Cops Say

The manager and his dealer are both charged, according to police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A manager at a Fairfield bar and his drug dealer, a Stratford man, face charges after a months-long investigation, according to police. John "Tom" Faulkner, a day-to-day operations manager at Brickyard Pub, and a man named Brandon Parks were arrested Thursday in an undercover operation at the business, police said in a department news release.

While inside the bar and restaurant at 93 Post Road, Faulkner agreed to sell cocaine to an undercover officer and contacted Parks, his alleged supplier, to drop off the drugs, according to police. Parks then came to the parking lot of the business and sold Faulkner the cocaine, the news release said. Both men had multiple bags of suspected cocaine, according to police, who said the two were taken into custody without incident.

Faulkner, 47, is charged with attempting to sell narcotics, narcotics possession with intent to sell and narcotics possession, the news release said. He was released on a $500 bond and is set to appear in court Dec. 3.

Parks, 26, of Success Avenue in Stratford, is charged with selling narcotics, as well as possession with intent to sell and possession, according to police. He was released on a $2,500 bond and will appear in court Dec. 2.
