The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

supporting sustainable initiatives. As Fairfield continues to grow, we must take action to preserve what makes Fairfield such a great place to live: beaches, lakes, historic charm and a thriving place to do business. I support taking advantage of energy efficiency programs, adding green infrastructure, working on transportation issues to ease traffic, and helping Fairfield become more biking/walking friendly place to live. I plan to help secure funding to implement parts of the Black Rock Turnpike Study completed in May of 2019.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am very active in district 3 as a mother at Holland Hill Elementary volunteering in the CANE program, PTA, and starting a Green Committee. I am a Den leader at the Stratfield Elementary Cub Scouts. I am a leader in a neighborhood coalition that supports saving the historic Judd Estate that has required engaging in many parts of local government.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

I support quality education, funding the senior center, passing senior tax relief legislation, and keeping Fairfield a great place to live!

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As a former teacher, I'm used to multitasking, keeping many moving parts going in a positive direction, and helping people.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

You get what you work for, not what you wish for.
