Fairfield Cat 'Elvis' Shot and Paralyzed by Bullet, Police Search for Shooter

Police are searching for the person who shot and paralyzed “Elvis” a 13-year-old cat, that was often in the neighborhood by Catamount and Redding roads, the Connecticut Post reports.

Elvis was rushed to the Norwalk Animal Hospital by a neighborhood woman. He survived being shot by a .22-caliber bullet, but was paralyzed.

The shot may have come from a pistol or rifle.
