Fairfield Community All-Star: Jason Prevelige
He is a full-time physician assistant at St. Mary's Hospital and chief of the Stratfield Volunteer Fire Department.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Congratulations to Jason Prevelige for being named a Fairfield Community All-Star. Jason was nominated by Linda Swanson.
Jason is a full-time physician assistant at St. Mary’s Hospital and spends his days off at CT Children’s Medical Center in Waterbury. He is also chief of the Stratfield Volunteer Fire Department. Read more about Jason from Linda’s nomination below:
- Professor of Pediatrics at SHU PA program
- Former President of CT Academy of PAs
- Member of AAPA's House of Delegates
- Member of Board of Directors of Non-profit humanitarian aid organization where he volunteered in clinics in Nicaragua
- Instructor at Fire Academy
- Organizes the numerous community functions sponsored by the Vol Fire Dept, including their Halloween Children's Party
- Always available to family, friends and neighbors to lend a helping hand
- Has a major role in caring for his 88-year-old ailing grandmother along with his wife. Oversees her medical care by consulting with her doctors, takes her to various appointments, treatments and tests, assists her with grocery shopping and errands around her home and is instrumental in aiding her to maintain an independent life style.
- Married, father of a 3-year-old
Who is a community all-star? It's anyone who you feel makes a positive difference in the lives of others. Someone who volunteers their time and sacrifices to help other residents in the community.
