Fairfield Designer Jennifer Butler To Present Fall Fashion Show At Fairfield Library
Local models will showcase day, evening and bridal wear at the October event, with donations benefiting library programs and services.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield-based fashion designer Jennifer Butler will present her fall collection for men and women at the Fairfield Public Library’s Main Library on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 6:30 p.m.
The fashion show, organized by the Friends of Fairfield Public Library, will take place in the Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery. It is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $50. Donations will benefit the library’s programs and services.
Local models will showcase day and evening wear, with bridal attire concluding the show. Light refreshments will be served.

“Autumn is here and it’s a tradition at the Library to kick off the season with a preview of Jen Butler’s fall clothing designs,” Town Librarian Scott Jarzombek said in a statement. “We invite the Fairfield community to support both a local designer AND their local library, while enjoying a fun evening out.”
Butler is a board member of the Friends of Fairfield Public Library and has supported the library for more than 15 years. Her twice-yearly fashion shows have raised thousands of dollars for the library, particularly its Teen Department, where a plaque recognizes her contributions.

Jennifer Butler Design, at 75 Hillside Road in Fairfield, has been part of the community for more than 25 years. Clients have worn Butler’s designs at weddings, gatherings and other special events.
