Fairfield Doctor Accused Of Assaulting Wife: Reports
The doctor was arrested this week in connection to a domestic violence incident.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield doctor is accused of pushing his wife down the stairs and forcing her out of their home, according to multiple reports.
The Connecticut Post reports Dr. Sherif Saleh, 34, was arrested this week in connection to the incident, in which the victim collided with the couple’s 8-year-old daughter on the way down the stairs. Saleh has a family medical practice in Bridgeport.
After forcing his wife out of the house, Saleh allegedly had another woman and her son move into the home, according to the Fairfield Daily Voice.

The Post reports Saleh made the other woman the authorized guardian at the victim’s children’s school. During the investigation, police learned from the victim’s daughter that her father had assaulted her mother on numerous other occasions.
